What is AI doing to the things we buy and use? Sure, the quality has dropped substantially, and prices have usually increased, but there is something else. Something that isn’t easily detectable and hidden below the surface. AI is diminishing what makes things valuable—the positive emotional energy attached to them.
POSITIVE EMOTIONAL ENERGY
You know, what attracts, nourishes, and makes us feel good inside every time we use the product or service. Positive emotional energy contains the thoughts and feelings of those who produce it—such as the excitement of creating or being part of something, the gratitude for their enjoyable experiences, and the feeling of “connection” they get with others, nature, or the materials they work with.
Most of us can feel the difference in something handmade by a loved one or a service by someone who absolutely loves their job.

AI EMOTIONAL ENERGY
So far, most of the AI emotional energy attached to companies’ products and services seems to contain intentions of getting as much as they can while giving as little as they can, being harmful to others or the environment in some way, eliminating any type of competition, and gaining more and more control.
Forced Excitement
There are a few individuals excited about the possibilities of what AI can do to benefit us, but for the developers and most of us, it’s hard to value something that is tainted with this kind of energy. It’s like we’re being pushed into a method of doing things based on harming someone or something—such as infringing on someone’s copyrights, eliminating jobs, polluting the environment, and deliberately trying to deceive us in their terms of agreement.
If AI had positive energy attached to it, we would be excited, really enjoy using the products and services, and want to recommend them to others.
AI is not yet something where everyone and everything can benefit. So, it’s just not that appealing for most of us.
Summary
We probably will still use services and buy products produced with AI, mostly out of necessity. But it may be a while before companies figure out what adds the value.
