As AI and automation progress, they are certainly going to change our lives, and probably from every direction. Some will be dramatic changes, such as a job loss. Some changes will be slight and gradual, such as new updates to our devices. And some will be hardly noticeable, to the point that most will not be aware of it. We are going to delve into one of those hardly noticeable changes to most here… how our frame of mind is shifting.
AN ANALOGY
A good analogy would be a gigantic ship making a 180-degree turn. It’s so enormous that very few notice the change of direction or even the waves it’s causing.

7 Ways AI and Automation Are Moving Us Away From Our Egos or 3rd Dimension Mindset
1 UNIQUENESS
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind focuses on our individual selves as if we are special and separate from others. This makes us self-absorbed, competitive, and willing to do everything it takes to prove our worth.
AI is Changing That
AI and automation are changing the impact one individual has to stand out from the crowd. AI is neutralizing our talents, skills, our ability to perform tasks, our physical appearance (digitally altering photographs), and about everything else that makes us special.
__
2 TAKING ACTION
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This way of living focuses on doing something in order to achieve a desired result. It almost always involves using our physical bodies in some way.
AI is Changing That
As AI and automation advance, the less we will need to physically “do something” to achieve the same or a better result.
__
3 MAKING PLANS
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind functions by having goals, figuring out ways to achieve them, and expecting a reward for our efforts.
AI is Changing That
AI and automation are screwing this up big time, especially with careers. It’s pushing us to stop making so many plans and, when they fail, not take them so seriously. AI is helping us “live in the moment.”
__
4 MATERIALISM
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind values gathering individual possessions that we can see, hear, taste, and touch with our 5 senses, such as cars and property. The ego uses them to give us a sense of social status, self-worth, and safety.
AI is Changing That
AI is not only making almost everything we can see, hear, taste, smell, and touch easy to locate, but, because of automation and robotization, it is also diminishing the value of each item. AI is helping us lose our admiration and feelings of security by hoarding possessions.
__
5 MAKING US CHANGE
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind has difficulty with change. The ego wants things to stay the same or return to what is familiar, to the way they were.
AI is Changing That
AI and automation are moving us forward at an intense pace. Not only is it driving us out of our comfort zones, but it is, many times, dramatically propelling us into situations that are uncertain and beyond our current ability to foresee or prepare for.
__
6 HIDING THE TRUTH
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind tends to lie and mislead others to build up their self-importance, impress others, and avoid punishment. The ego encourages us to be a little dishonest, deceptive, or even try to cheat in our favor.
AI is Changing That
Because of AI’s lie detection tools, its ability to present different sides to any situation, and even its capacity to generate more convincing lies (such as deepfakes), it’s getting harder for us to distinguish anything as completely truthful. As a result, we are learning to pay closer attention to sensing the energy (how it feels) or our inner guidance in every circumstance.
__
7 CONTROL
Our Ego or 3rd Dimension Mindset
This state of mind focuses on needing to dominate or govern someone or some situation. The ego does this by getting us to make a judgment about whether someone or an event is either right or wrong. Then we try to take charge to correct it by making up rules and laws, or enforcing punishment.
AI is Changing That
The rapid pace and unpredictability of it require us to have a mindset of curiosity over control. AI is pushing us to adapt a lifestyle of exploration and learning. There is not much certainty, and hardly any rules. It’s like we’re on an adventure!
Summary
As you can see, AI is moving our mindset in a different direction. It’s very unlikely we’ll be able to turn the ship back in the old direction or even slow it down. If we fight the direction, we’ll be left behind. But we could enjoy the new journey!
