There is no doubt about it, the world is changing at a superfast pace. New ways of doing things are developing quickly, while things we could count on in the past are disappearing in front of our eyes.
It seems like a very good time to reassess your life since everything else is changing. However, there might be some reasons you are reluctant to not jump on the bandwagon.
Some Reasons for Not Re-evaluating your Life Now…
When You…
1 Still want things to go back to the way they used to be—back to “normal.”
2 Are afraid of making any changes, even for the better.
3 Have no desire to give up your numbing devices or stress relievers. This could be with food, pills, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, caffeine, impulse buying, keeping crazy busy, binge watching, texting, social media, or hundreds of other things.
4 Operate mostly on autopilot, not paying attention to your state of mind.
5 Refuse to listen to others or try new things.
6 Get upset when something does change.
7 Want to sit on the sidelines and watch others move ahead.
8 Are scared to death you will fail.
9 Don’t feel worthy of something better.
10 Are adamant about doing things the way you’ve always done them, even when things are not working any longer.
11 Feel you won’t get what you truly want, so why take time to consider it.
12 Don’t want to slow down and take more quiet time, even for a short time.
13 Have no desire to improve your ability to be aware of your intuition or follow it.
14 Want to hang onto how you define yourself, afraid you will lose yourself or your value. How you define yourself could be as a wife or husband, any job title, a millionaire, or dozens of other ways.
Almost all of us will probably have to re-evaluate our lives in some fashion during this enormous universal shift. When we ignore or prolong reassessing our life periodically, it almost always results in hasher and more drastic changes when they do happen.
