7 Big Reasons Why Using Your Intuition is So Important Now

Have you noticed that ever since Covid-19 appeared, nothing seems to be the same? Most of us have been pushed, both internally and externally, out of our comfort zones. That’s why it’s so important to start relying on our intuition more than ever.

What is Intuition?

Intuition is the overall term for something that knows how to guide us out of any jam, or solve any problem, so that everyone wins in the long run. It also provides us peace of mind during the process.

Religious people might call intuition God’s guidance, God’s voice, or Holy Spirit.  Spiritual people might call it Universe, a Higher Power, Spirit, Guides, Divine, or inner guidance. While others might call it gut instincts, gut feelings, a knowing, an insight, or a hunch.

Don’t get hung up on the term. Whatever you want to call intuition is fine. Now, let’s discuss why it’s getting so crucial.

7 Big Reasons Why Using Your Intuition So Important Now…

Most of Us are Experiencing…

1   LESS OF SAFETY AND SECURITY

During this time, the majority of us have kept our eyes locked on our screens soaking up the latest updates and everyone’s opinion, which constantly changes. Every day we are probably exposed to plenty of biased views, fabrications, and lots of downright lies. No wonder we don’t feel safe and secure! It’s getting harder to take things for face value or trust anything or anyone.

2   MORE ANGER AND STRESS IN OTHERS

Some of us are coming in contact daily with individuals who are angry or at the least, on edge with their underlying tones and outbursts.

3   LESS SATISFACTION

Have you noticed what used to satisfy you before Covid-19 isn’t working as well? We seem to be more discontent with our careers, our employer, where we live, our income, our marriage, our life, and dozens of other things.

4   FEELING DISCONNECTED FROM OTHERS

The restrictions of Covid-19 began limiting our physical (seeing, hearing, touching) way of bonding with others. But now, we have taken it to a new level by dividing more than ever—with our rigid beliefs and our need to be right. Because of this it’s getting hard to feel that connected to even our co-workers, neighbors, and family.

5   LOTS OF SMALL ONGOING CHANGES

Everyday there seems to be something new that adds a little to our stress level. This could be another item out of stock or delivery being delayed, the new ways companies are doing business, or trying to adapt to new environments.

6   A CHANGE OF OUR WORK IDENTITY

Because of the acceleration of artificial intelligence and other factors shaking our industries and professions, Covid 19 has brought many of our individual identities to the surface for review.

There is no doubt about it, millions of us, especially in the US, have placed most of our identity on our work. Our identity was concentrated on trying to have a purpose and feel valuable through our work.

That is being tested right now! It’s very difficult to base our self-worth on what we do for work with the speed that industries are changing and the fear of being replaced constantly looming over us.

7   BURNING OUT

For most of us, Covid-19 helped us realize our lives were spinning out of control—trying to do more and more just to stay afloat.

It seems like the majority of us have become burned out, apathetic, and less passionate about anything. Maybe we’re sick of working our asses off to be successful, worn out from spending most of our time doing things we don’t enjoy, and tired of not having any quality time with our loved ones.

The Solution

As you can see, it’s more important than ever to start relying on our intuition. Our intuition can help us feel safe and secure, find satisfaction, feel connected to others, adapt to the changes, find our true identity, and feel regenerated.

Are you Ready to Increase Your Ability to be Aware of Your Intuition?

Check out the  How to Feel Worthy self-study course. It can help you change the mindset you have about yourself and the world around you, which allows your intuition to surface. For more details.

I have also just added intuition eBooks for three of the Myers-Briggs personality types.

Or there are several blogs in the Intuition section on my website that could help.
