I recently came across a book on MBTI Personality Types where the author suggested that Jesus might have been an INFJ. When I read the word Jesus, I got a mini “aha.” I knew it was something I needed to consider and that it was possibly another piece to connect in my own enlightenment journey.
I am an INFJ, and for over 30 years, I have been passionate about A Course of Miracles (ACIM), which was channeled from Jesus.
Here’s Why I Think “A Course in Miracles” Can Help INFJ Personality Types…
1 Think a Lot- ACIM is a course in mind-training. It’s perfect for someone who spends so much time in thought.
2 Are Prone to Analyze and Play Devil’s Advocate- ACIM takes one concept, “all there is, is love,” and approaches it from 100s of different angles.
3 Get Energy in Solitude- ACIM is a self-study course that offers that much needed time alone for reflection and gives us plenty of “ahas” with it.
4 Need a Cause- There probably isn’t a cause much higher than getting rid of the ego and learning how to be Jesus-like.
5 Are Eager to Do Their Inner Work- ACIM provides plenty of that. On top of the 365 workbook lessons, there are 100s of concepts to help us retrain our thoughts and perceptions about ourselves, others, God, and the world around us. The best part is observing ourselves changing as we implement the concepts—letting go of our fears and accepting the love.
6 Want to Have Deep, Meaningful Relationships- ACIM provides a mindset to take every relationship to the highest level possible, to love without any conditions.
7 Are Called “the Counselors” and are Fond of Teaching, Advising, and Guiding- There are several places throughout ACIM that suggest the idea of teaching. It even has a section called “Manual for Teachers.”
If you are one of the few INFJs that haven’t heard of A Course in Miracles, you might want to check it out.
