We all experience it to some extent. What is it? It is that endless barrage of thoughts that race through our minds—an inner monologue, or mind chatter.
Part of our twin flame experience (and the actual union) is shaped by what dimension our mind chatter is coming from. Our relationship could be at a standstill—or downright painful—if our mind chatter is at the lower energy level of the 3rd dimension. Or, our relationship could actually be enjoyable if our mind chatter is at the higher energy level of the 4th dimension. Best of all is the amazing, out of this world twin flame experience that results from the 5th dimension inner dialog.
Here’s the Differences in our Inner Monologue….
3rd Dimension Mind Chatter
When we are at that lower energy level mindset, almost all of our attention is placed on what’s not going right and what it should be. Jealousy, anger, doubt, and fear can race through our minds, like we have no control over it.
Our Relationship Mind Chatter Has a Tendency to Consist of…
- Blaming ourselves or our twin flame for the current situation
- Fantasizing and daydreaming about making our twin flame relationship into a traditional romantic relationship full of rules and obligation
- Pining away about what we don’t have, like the ability to physically touch or, see our twin face-to-face
- Rehashing past encounters and judging what should have happened
- Disagreeing with what’s going on with our relationship
- Creating catastrophic scenarios based around the theme of “never being able to be with our twin”
4th Dimension Mind Chatter
When we are in the 4th Dimension, we realize that our mind chatter plays an important part of our twin flame relationship, both in what happens and our experience of it. Almost all of our attention is placed on observing and taking control of our inner monologue.
Our Relationship Mind Chatter Has a Tendency to Consist of…
- Lots of mantras or affirmations
- Taking time for meditation and quiet reflection with less mind chatter
- Asking relationship questions to God or a Higher Power, and waiting for the answers
- Desiring to learn, understand, or experience more about our relationship
5th Dimension Mind Chatter
When we are in the 5th Dimension, we mostly clear out our mind chatter and develop a quiet mind. Our point of focus is on listening for inner guidance and having an observing mind.
Our Relationship Mind Chatter Has a Tendency to Consist of…
- Developing an inner dialog with our twin flame, and God or a Higher Power
- Extending love to ourselves, others, and everything else
- Constant thoughts of gratitude
- Acceptance of everyone and everything
If you find that your mind chatter is mostly in the 3rd dimension, notice how you feel. Do you feel you wouldn’t wish a twin flame relationship on anyone? Does it make you feel better or worse to think about your relationship? If it makes you feel worse, it’s time to start taking control of your inner monologue.
If you find your mind chatter is mostly in the 4th dimension, again, notice how you feel. When you think of your relationship, does it make you feel better or worse? Do you feel good, but not great? Is it starting to feel flat or at a standstill? Maybe it’s time to start listening full-time and let God or the Higher Power take over your inner monologue.
