Benefits of “Being in the Flow”

We all want more of those delicious moments when you seem to wake from a place of total contentment, ease and joy. What was that? It was called being in the flow. And you didn’t wake from it, it’s the way your reality really can be. It’s possible to experience being in the zone moment to moment – to flow from one thing to the next. Being in the flow is not an out there concept. In fact, you probably experience flow more than you think. One way to cultivate more flow is simply to recognize the state of being there.

When we are "in synchronicity", we...

  • Observe "the flow" instead of being busy "making it happen."

  • Experience a period of perfection, when everything falls gently in place.

  • Accomplish great things with little or no effort.

  • Have plenty of confidence and feel free from fear.

  • Lose track of time.

  • Are completely relaxed.

  • Hear our intuition loud and clear.

  • Feel extremely connected.

  • Stop feeling self-concerned.

  • Are deeply satisfied.

  • Feel the experience is incomparable to anything else.

Being in the flow is not like being on autopilot, though both can involve a sort of bopping along from one thing to the next. The difference is that being in the flow elicits feelings of contentment, curiosity and connectedness. Being on autopilot elicits feelings of numbness or even disorientation about where you’ve been, what you did and why it mattered. Which way would you rather live your life?
