Here’s what Vickie Champion talks about in this video…
Hi! I’m Vickie Champion. I am a business and life coach who helps people listen to their “intuition.”
This is one of the videos in a series called “Is this your Intuition?” One of my assistants will describe a common scenario and then ask you if the person used their intuition or not? Then I’ll tell you my answer and explain “why” I came to that conclusion.
A COMMON SCENARIO- ACCEPTING A JOB
Jake went on a job interview. The job sounded like something he was qualified for and could easily do well. The pay and benefits were good.
His potential boss seemed to be a nice guy. There seemed to be plenty of room to grow. For some reason Jake had a hard time believing everything his boss was telling him. That was unusual for Jake. He has a tendency to trust almost everyone.
Every time he thought about working there, his chest started feeling heavy and tight. He decided to turn the job down even if they offered it to him. Was Jake using his intuition?
VICKIE’S ANSWER AND EXPLANATION
1 It’s not what people say that’s important. It’s your feelings about it, especially if it’s unusual for you. Using your intuition or gut instincts is the ability to focus beyond what’s being said to what’s not being said.
2 Our bodies can often tell us little clues. Heavy and tight feelings is your intuition saying NO.
